Republic of Cavite Restaurant

Let's talk about Cavite. I've been living here in Bulihan, Silang, Cavite for almost 16 years but I never had a chance to check the other places here. The only place that we always visit in Cavite is Tagaytay.

Tagaytay has a very beautiful view that tourists really loves to see. There are a lot of restaurants around this place but none of them represents Cavite's native delicacies. For me, place wouldn't be that good if I am feeling hungry. Would you still visit that place if they can't give you good food? of course not!

Cavite has a lot of stories to tell. It is so famous when it comes to Philippine History. I admit, I am not that good in history. All I know is that Imus is the capital of Cavite and the National Road was named after Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo who is our first President. (Thanks Google!) ^_^

This place is so cozy. This is the best place to unwind and relax. As I have said earlier, place would not be popular if their food is not good. So we tried their specialties and this is what I ate:

Now, the only advice that I can give you is to make sure that you're not on "diet" mode when you wanted to visit Republic of Cavite. I can surely tell you that you cannot resist your hunger... hahaha!

I promised myself to visit this place again together with my family. My Dad will surely love this place and their food. :)

Paradizoo Theme Farm: A Healthy Living Place

A lot of us are so busy playing online games in Facebook such as Farmville and Pet Society. With this games, we can learn a lot.. a lot? Okay... some ideas on how to grow some crops and nurture an animal in a right way. But can you imagine doing it in a real life? Planting vegetables or fruits, watering and tending it while waiting them to grow, not just hours but weeks or months before you can totally use it. In Farmville you can use an instant fertilizer and in just one click you can already harvest it. Yes, it's fun but can you eat it? Of course not. So before I get addicted to Cityville... hahaha... might as well go to the place where I can inhale a fresh air. I'm currently living here in Cavite so where else should I go? Tagaytay!

There are a lot of places that you can go to in tagaytay. But there's this one place that I really love to visit everytime I'm in Tagaytay and it's Paradizoo by Residence Inn along National Highway. They also have this 10 hectare rolling terrain land that is located in Mendez, Cavite. In that place, you can see different areas such as Farm Animals Breeding Area, Vegetable and Flower Farm, Honey Bee Farm, Butterfly Garden, Rest and Recreational area and the Perpetual Cemetery. They also have their Café that serves only fresh vegetable and fruits that comes from their farm and you can also experience a delightful organic menu in Paradizoo.

Paradizoo has an exhibit sale for farm enthusiast called “Power of Three”. It is a combination of Livestock, Floral and Vegetable that started last February 5 until March 13, 2011. In that event, you can experience Greyhound Racing, Animal Parade, Vegetable Picking, Animal Auction, Seminars and Organic Fertilizer application.
